Robert Mahone

Kerrville Robert Henry Mahone, Jr. 83 passed away in Kerrville, Texas on October 7, 2010 after a brief illness.

Bob was born in Louann, Arkansas to Robert Henry Mahone Sr. and Florrie France Allen. Following service in the U.S. Navy and graduation from Texas AM University with a degree in Agricultural Administration, Bob had a long and varied career in agriculture.

He built and ran country and export grain elevators and leased or owned ranches throughout Texas and eastern New Mexico.

At the age of 80, he obtained a license to sell real estate and was actively working to list and sell ranches at the time of his death.

Bob is survived by his wife of 48 years, Joyce Lawson Mahone, sister Janice Jackson and his three children: son Michael Allen Mahone wife Mary Mahone, daughter Kathy Mahone Masters husband Morris Masters and son Robert Andrew Mahone wife Melissa Mahone. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Robert Mahone III, Kelly Mahone, Michael Mahone Jr., Shane Mahone, Abbey Masters and Krissie Mahone and his greatgranddaughter Parker Mahone.

No local services are planned. and relatives will be contacted about a memorial service at a later date.
