Uncle Bob Hartsell, 92, of Kerrville, TX, died Monday morning, November 12, 2007 at the Kerrville VA Hospital.nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspBorn April 3, 1915 in Cabarrus County, NC, he was the son of Paul M. and Rosa May Saunders Hartsell. While in Concord, NC, he played the guitar in a band on the radio in 1937.nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp He retired from the US Army on July 1, 1969, where he served in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam Conflict as a medic in the MASH unit.nbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp nbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp Uncle Bob was a life member of the VFW Post 4815 and 837 in San Antonio, TX and the VFW Post 1480 in Kerrville, TX. Funeral services will be held at the Kerrville Funeral Home on Friday morning, November 16, 2007 at 11:00 AM.
