Kerrville, Texas Robert Wilton Griffin, 78, of Kerrville, Texas passed away Sunday, July 6, 2003. Mr. Griffin was born May 8, 1925 in Waco, Texas to Forrest Laban and Cordie Mabel Morgan Griffin, both deceased.Mr. Griffin was raised in Breckenridge, Texas before spending a tour of duty in the United States Navy during WWII. After being honorably discharged in 1945, he attended TCU, earning a BA degree. He was a Geologist and a member of the American Legion of Midland, Texas.He is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Francis Griffin Johnson.He is survived by his daughter, Janie Griffin Fabacher husband Marshall of Pipe Creek, Texas grandsons, Robert Corey Pradon wife Arlene of Odessa, Texas and LCPL Daniel Todd Pradon, USMC of San Antonio, Texas granddaughter, Carrie Denise Peacock husband David of Odessa, Texas greatgrandsons, Austin Wayne Pradon Justin Wayne Sovil of Odessa, Texas a sister, Ollie Griffin Hughes of Houston, Texas.A visitation will be held at Ellis Funeral Home, 801 Andrews Highway, Midland, Texas 79701 on Tuesday, July 8, 2003 from 6 8 PM. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM, Resthaven Memorial Park, 4616 North Big Spring, Midland, Texas 79705 with Bro. Wayman Swopes, pastor of Greenwood Baptist Church, officiating.Arrangements are under the direction of Kerrville Funeral Home with the gracious assistance of Ellis Funeral Home
