Robert Fikes

SAN ANTONIO Robert Ray Fikes, 66, passed from this life on May 25, 2012 at a San Antonio hospital. Robert was born in Brady, TX on February 2, 1946 to Robert Byron and Lillian Mae Ayers Fikes.

He married the love of his life, Ann Liljedahl on December 30, 1967. Robert was a well respected teacher, a coach, and a Driver Education Instructor. He also raised cattle and farmed in the Texas Hill Country that he so loved.

Robert was preceded in death by his daughter, Ginger Annette Fikes.

Those left to honor and cherish his memories are his wife, Ann Fikes daughter, Laura Beth Fikes brother, Steven Fikes numerous nephews and nieces, along with a host of many loving friends and neighbors.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 11:30 AM at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Kerrville, TX.

In lieu of floral tributes, memorials may be forwarded to Chris and Tanya Fikes Mission Fund, co Kerrville Church of Christ, Loop 534, Kerrville, TX 78028.
