Robert Deel

Lakehills Robert Forgason Deel, 88, of Lakehills, Texas passed from this life to be with his lord on May 10, 2007 at his residence. He was born to Robert Tripp and Mary H. Wright Deel on April 25, 1919 in Pearsall, Texas. Bob spent his first twenty years living through out Texas. He met his love, Margie Mickey Wilson in Dilly Texas, and they married September 1941.Bob and Mickey moved to Arizona, working in real estate and opening the Grand Canyon trading post, later moving to Eminence, Missouri in 1969, entering into the ranching and realestate development business. In 1993 Bob and Mickey moved to Ingram, Texas, traveling often to Karnes City, working on their Ranch B B. Bob spent his last few months in Lakehills, Texas to be closer to family. He passed holding Mickeys hand, and went on to heaven.He was a member of First Baptist Church, Ingram, TX. Bob is preceded in death by his parents sisters, Elizabeth Gerfers and Virginia Carle. He is survived by his wife, Margie L. Deel of Lakehills, TX sons, Robert P. Deel of Marietta, CA, William B. Deel of Lakehills, TX, and Donald L. Deel of Spokane, Washington grandsons, Collin R. Deel, and Timothy R. Deel sisters, LaVerne Rivkin of Los Angeles, CA and Jody Spivey of Galveston, Texas along with a host of many loving friends and neighborsA Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM, Friday, May 18, 2007 in the First Baptist Church, Ingram, TX with Bro. Jimmy Allen officiating. Inurnment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
