Blevins, 76, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 8, 2008.nbspBorn in Mountain Home on February 15, 1932, he was the son of Robert and Helen Jerrett Blevins.nbsp He had been a resident of La Porte, TX and spent time back at Mountain Home.nbspMr. Blevins worked for close to 40 years as a truck driver and later as an owneroperator of an OTR truck.nbsp He enjoyed fishing and camping.nbspA loving husband, father and grandfather, he was always thoughtful of others.nbspMr. Blevins is survived by his wife of 41 years, Virginia Switzer Blevins of La Porte a stepson, Ronald Storms of Ingram a stepdaughter, Vicki Storms of Ingram a granddaughter whom he raised, Christina Carrillo of La Porte and many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.nbspThere was no visitation.nbspGraveside services will be held today, Friday, July 11, 2008 at Sunset Cemetery, Mountain Home, at 2:00PM
