Richard Vargas

Kerrville Richard A Vargas, beloved father, brother and grandfather, passed away to his rest on Friday, December 31, 2010 at the age of 88.

He was born on November 23, 1922 to Emilio Vargas and Jesusa Ayala Vargas. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Frank Vargas.

Richard was a hard worker and was very supportive of his family. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

He is survived by his children, Henry and wife Vangie, Sylvia and exhusband Trinidad Sanchez, Estella Roan and husband Calvin, Vanessa Bradshaw and husband Kody his brother, Pete Vargas his sister Lydia Gonzales his devoted nephew, Jimmy Gonzales. Richard was blessed with nine grandchildren, twentyfour great grandchildren and four greatgreatgrand children numerous nieces and nephews along with many loving friends and neighbors.

ation and Recitation of the Holy Rosary was held on Monday, January 3, 2011 from 6 8 PM in the Mina Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Hwy, Kerrville, TX. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 also in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Mount View Cemetery, Kerrville, TX.
