Rene Beaudoin

Mountain Home Rene Romeo Beaudoin, 69, of Mountain Home, TX went to be with the Lord peacefully at his home in the care of his loving family on Wednesday, October 27, 2010. He was the son of Edmond and Antoinette Beaudoin.

Rene proudly served his country for 20 years in the U.S. Army. He served in Vietnam where he received the Gallantry Cross, along with the Bronze Star from the Government of Vietnam in August 1968. He also was awarded a second Bronze Star in 1969.

Upon his retirement from the El Paso Water Co, he finally was able to live on the ranch of his dreams with all of the animals that he cherished.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Brigitte of Mountain Home their children, Jackie Nugent and husband Sean, Edmond and partner Jeff, Cecile Gibbs and fianceacute Brian, Rene Jr. and Davena his loving grandchildren, Christopher, Crystal, Eli, Patrick and Danielle he is also survived by his mother Antionette brother Paul sister, Joanne Bazzano and husband Carmen niece, Jennifer Archer and nephews, Tory and Carmen Bazzano Jr., along with a host of many loving friends and neighbors.

Graveside Services will held at 1 PM on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzback , San Antonio, TX. ation will be held Monday, November 1, 2010 from 5 8 PM at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, TX.

Memorial Contributions can be made to the Peterson Hospice.
