Rebecca Bennett

Kerrville, Texas Rebecca Becky Bennett, 77, of Kerrville went to be with the Lord on September 21, 2006. Rebecca Ruth Archer was born February 25, 1929 in Floresville, Texas to Dr. C.W. and Grace Ratliff Archer. She attended school in Floresville and then graduated from Baylor University. In 1956, she married Robert Neil Bennett. The Bennetts lived in various cities in Texas where Becky taught school for over 30 years. She was a longtime Sunday school teacher. The Bennetts retired to Colorado for 9 years and then moved to Kerrville, Texas. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and the Jubilee Sunday School Class. Mrs. Bennett is survived by her husband, Robert daughter, Ruth Bennett Billett of Stanton, Texas son, Dr. Robert Neil Bennett, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas and grandchildren, David, Jonathan, and Rachel Billett and Matthew and Andrew Bennett.ation will be held 68:00 Sunday, September 24, 2006 at Kerrville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 25, 2006 at Trinity Baptist Church with Dr. John Petty and Dr. Jack Green officiating. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m., Monday at the Floresville City Cemetery in Floresville, Texas.Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
