Raymond Juarez

KERRVILLE Raymond Zamora Juarez, Sr. 77, of Kerrville, Texas passed from this life at a local care center on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 in Kerrville, TX. Born October 21, 1934, in Kerrville, TX, he was the son of Manuel O. Juarez and Guadalupe Zamora. He had been a longtime resident of Kerrville.

Raymond graduated from Tivy High School in 1953, and then served in the United States Marines from 19531957. Raymond married the love of his life, Alice Gomez on April 21, 1960. After he went to college to train as a Radiologist and Lab Technician he worked in Decateur, TX for 14 years at Decateur Hospital. Raymond returned to Kerrville to work at Sid Peterson for a year before going joining the VA Medical Center in the XRay Dept. where he spent 25 years before he retired.

Raymond is preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Guadalupe Juarez, and his brothers Gilbert and Armando Juarez.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his wife, Alice G. Juarez son, Reynaldo Juarez and wife Melody of Boerne, TX daughter, Deborah Rickard of Kerrville, TX son, Raymond Juarez, Jr. and wife Irene of Mission, TX, Mark Juarez and wife Sherri of Kerrille, TX sister, Consuelo Coronado of San Antonio, TX 10 grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 11 AM in Kerrville, TX.
