Raymond Dreyer

Raymond "RC" Carl Dreyer, 79, of Kerrville, Texas passed peacefully from this life on April 10, 2015 at a local care center in Kerrville. He was born on December 21, 1935 in Humble, Texas to parents, Erich E. Dreyer and Bertha Mathilde (Meyer) Dreyer.

RC graduated from Charles Bender High School in Humble, TX. Shortly after graduation, he joined the United States Army in 1960 and proudly served 5 years. He married Judith Ann Tinner in December of 1972. Judith passed in February, 1998 RC started his career for the City of Humble in 1967, as the Public Works Director, retiring in 1994 after 27 years of service. RC got an additional chance at love and happiness when he met and married, Katherine Mae Jordan in March of 2000.

Those who passed before him are his parents; sister, Clara Blanchard; brothers, Ervin Dreyer, Hernan Dreyer, Walter Dreyer, Rudie Dreyer; son, Raymond Carl Dreyer Jr.; and wife, Judith Ann Tinner.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his wife, Katherine Mae Jordan Dreyer; daughter, Aletha Foore and Joe; stepson, Larry Keith McKuin and Lisa; sister, Elizabeth Clark; 5 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; along with many friends, neighbors, and his church family who will miss him dearly.

Funeral Services will be held in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, Texas 78028 at 10 AM, Wednesday, April 15, 2015 with the Rev. Franklin Pullin and the Rev. James Ennis officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Cemetery with Military Honors.

A time of visitation and reflection will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 6 - 8 PM.

The family has expressed their desires for memorial contributions to be forwarded to the Building Fund of Western Hills Baptist Church, 2010 Goat Creek Rd, Kerrville, TX 78028 or to Peterson Hospice, 1121 Broadway #100, Kerrville, TX 78028.
