Kerrville Phyllis Elaine Kraxberger went to be with our Lord on April 24, 2007 at the age of 84, after a valiant struggle to recover from a stroke. She was born in Denver on July 5, 1922. Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband Vincent, son Bill, and parents John and Kathryn Schneider. She is survived by daughter Arlene Dyess of Ingram, brother Kenneth Schneider and his wife Joyce of Richland, WA, sister Dona Shough and her husband Ken of Bradenton, FL, granddaughter Mellany Dyess, great grandsons Kory and Kolby Poole, Mellanys husband to be, Tim Bell, all of LaPorte, TX, 10 nieces and nephews, several selfadopted grandchildren and many friends she has known throughout her entire adult life. Phyllis was an energetic, adventurous, eager to learn woman, who spent much time traveling with her husband after retiring.She was active in her church, having the role for several years, of serving her church and Pastors in supplying and preparing the Elements for Holy Communion. She loved Bible Study, Yoga and Spring Forest QiGong classes as well as spending time with her friends. Phyllis was always very much a lady, and will be missed by those of us left here on earth. ation will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home on Saturday, April 28, 2007 from 5 7 PM. A Celebration of Her Life will be held in the Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home on Sunday, April 29 at 3 PM officiated by The Reverend Ray Teer of First Presbyterian Church, Ingram. Interment will follow at Nichols Cemetery.
