Phyllis Denham

KERRVILLE Phyllis E. Denham, 87, of Kerrville, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2008. She was born May 7, 1920 in Mt. Carmel, Illinois to John H. and Amy Schrodt Hill. On December 15, 1944, she married William Dean Denham in Hammond, Indiana. He preceded her in death in 1999.Mrs. Denham was a former elementary school secretary, member of the First United Methodist Church and member of the Keystone Sunday School class.Survivors include a son, Dave Denham of Lagrange, Indiana and a daughter, Barbara Anthony and husband, Pete, of San Antonio, Texas grandchildren, Amy Lawhon, Sarah Hollopeter, Katie Denham, David Anthony and Daniel Anthony and four great grandchildren.A visitation will be held from 5 7 PM, Monday, January 7, 2008 at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, TX 78028. Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, January 8, 2008 in the Sanctuary of First United Methodist Church, 321 Thompson Drive, Kerrville, TX 78028 with Rev. Dr. Warren Hornung officiating.In lieu of floral arrangements, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Childrens Ark, First United Methodist Church, 321 Thompson Drive, Kerrville, TX 78028 or Medina Childrens Home, 21300 State Highway 16N, Medina, Texas 78055.
