Houston Phyllis Maude entered into the Gates of Heaven to be reunited with her beloved husband, Donald Graham Clark who was waiting for her arrival on November 12, 2007. She was born in Red Cloud, Nebraska to Howard and Oda Simpson. Phyllis lived a long fulfilled life and was proud of her five children, seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Phyllis also welcomed twenty one other children in her home during her lifetime. She was always ready for a picnic, skating, bike riding or a hike with her family. She was a wonderful sweet and generous soul. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Oda Simpson of Houston, Texas, her youngest son Mark Scott Clark of Kerrville, Texas and the love of her life for fifty five years, Dr. Donald Graham Clark.She is survived by her four remaining children, Howard Clark and wife Sandra, Donna Hale and husband Frank, Garry Cark and wife Rebakah, and Janice Tyler and husband Kenneth.The family offers a special thanks to her loving care giver Lyndall Brown, who is a cherished family member. are invited to visit with the family from 6 8 PM, Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, Texas.A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2007, 11 AM, at Glen Rest Cemetery, next to Schreiner University, Kerrville, Texas.In lieu of floral arrangements, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army in memory of Phyllis Maude Clark.Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
