Petra Rodriguez

Kerrville Petra Martinez Rodriguez, 89, of Kerrville, died November 14, 2007 at a local care center.Petra was born to Daniel and Paula Martinez on October 19, 1918 in New Braunfels, Texas. She was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church.Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by two sons, Alex, of Ingram, and Sam, of Kerrville two daughters, Manuela of San Antonio and Maria Lichnovsky and her husband Joe, of Center Point ten grandchildren, Michael Ray, Janie, Sheree, Grace Ann, Sandra, Anita, Jaime, Justin Daniel, Chris and a very special granddaughter with whom she lived for five years, Maria Isabel and eight greatgrandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Rosa Reyes and Julia Ulloa and a brother, Victor Martinez, all of New Braunfels. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Juan her parents and two sons, Mike and Arturo Rodriguez.The family would like to thank the staff of Edgewater Care Center and Peterson Hospice for the wonderful care they provided and to Father Mike Boullette and Father Mike Peineman for their support.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 1:30 PM at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Father Mike Peineman officiating.
