Patsine Burt

Patsine Janet Shaw Burt, 90, of Kerrville, Texas passed peacefully from this life on September 3, 2014 at a local care facility in Kerrville, Texas. She was born April 30, 1924 in Kaw City, Oklahoma.

Patsine has lived in Colorado Sioux Lookout, Ontario San Antonio and Kerrville, Texas. Patsine was an independent spirit who raised three children, worked in the restaurant business and retired in her later years from a long nursing career. She was a resident of Kerrville for over 35 years, most of that time was spent in the TakeItEasy RV Resort. Patsine loved to volunteer at the Humane Society of Kerrville and enjoyed gardening around her home.

Patsine is preceded in death by her parents, George Thomas Shaw and Elva May Baker siblings, Georgia Browning, Dorothea Burdorf, Marguerite Tropea, Alberta Wilson, Leslie Shaw, Richard Shaw, and Lawrence Shaw. She is also preceded in death by her husbands, Lloyd W. Kuhn, Tom Hyatt, and Francis Burt.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her sons, Richard Kuhn and wife Alice, Brian Kuhn and wife Melissa daughter, Kathleen Kay six grandchildren, Allen Kay, Austin, Chandler, Cameron, Parker Kuhn, Richard Carlisle Kuhn and numerous nieces and nephews living out of state.

Cremation without a service has been arranged and her cremated remains will be interred at the San Jose Burial Park in San Antonio, Texas at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Kerrville or the American Heart Association.
