Patricia Simmons

Patricia Beardmore Simmons, 85, of Kerrville, Texas passed from this life on Sunday, April 20, 2014. She was born on January 18, 1929 to Harold R. and Beulah Thomas Beardmore in Kansas City, Missouri.

Known by all as Pat, she was a loving and devoted wife, grandmother, and greatgrandmother. A graduate of Texas Tech University who chose to be a full time homemaker, her life was one of giving and great love. Pat retired to Kerrville in 1994, she so loved the Hill Country. She was both a Boy Scout and Girl Scout leader for many years. Pat was also an avid seamstress. She had a great love for literature and the arts as well. Pat will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her beloved husband of nearly 64 years, William B. Simmons sons, Tommy Simmons and wife Cindy, Bob Simmons and wife Helen daughters, Margaret Byrne and husband Mike, and Patricia Tanner and husband Tim grandchildren, Lewis, Sarah, Andrew, Stephanie, Evan, Jacob, Annemarie and Michael greatgrandchildren, Collin, Caden, and Dylan.

In lieu of floral tributes, the family asked that memorial donations be made in Pats name to the Alzheimers Association at P.O. Box 96011
