Ottilia January

Otillia Marie January, 93, went to be with her Lord at 6:00AM, October 31, 2004 in Parsons House Care Center Ameripark. Tillie, as she was known was born in a log cabin in Mountain Home, TX in the year 1910. She was the daughter of George and Amalia Ruff. She was preceded in death by her mother, Amalia Mollie father George brother, George Jr. and his wife Alma sister, Anna Moss and her husband Walter and son, Odell. She is survived by a daughterinlaw, Marie January granddaughter, Marilyn Bellman and her husband Oscar sister, Lola Moseley and her husband William brother, Robert Ruff and his wife Margie she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.When Tillie was ten years old the family moved to Kerrville, TX. She went to work early in life working at a laundry cleaners and day care, and spending time working and raising her son. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Kerrville, TX. She was their oldest living charter member at the time of her death. Her church was very special to her.She was a joy to her family and friends. She loved caring for children, which was a part of her life.Funeral Services will be 10:00AM, Tuesday, November 2, 2004 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William S. Moseley and Pastor David C. Chancellor officiating.
