Olivia Limon

KERRVILLE - Olivia (Vielma) Limon, 83, of Kerrville, TX, passed from this life on October 6, 2015 at a local care center in Kerrville, TX. She was born to Encarnacion and Adelaida (Martinez) Vielma on February 24, 1932 in Jimenez, Coahulia, Mexico.

Olivia and her family moved from their homeland in Mexico to Center Point, TX in 1977. She enrolled her children in the Center Point schools with many challenges ahead of them that they all overcame through her determination and persistence. In 1983, they moved to Kerrville where she worked for several doctors and a judge helping keep their daily lives in order.

She had several passions in life that her family benefited from which included sewing and cooking, but she loved spending time with family and friends most of all. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and a role model for many, and will be missed by all who knew her.

Olivia was a faithful Catholic and a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church in Kerrville, TX, along with being active for many years in the Guadalupana Society as well. She was very faithful in praying the rosary daily.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her loving husband Victoriano Limon who passed in 2001; brothers, Pablo Vielma, and Rogelio Vielma; and her sister, Nena Vielma.

She is survived by her sons, Raymond Limon and wife Rebecca of Kerrville, TX, and Miguel Limon also of Kerrville, TX; 4 grandchildren, Steven Limon, Marissa Limon, Clarissa Limon, and Alyssa Limon; brother, Jose Vielma of Del Rio, TX; many nieces and nephews, along with a host of loving friends, neighbors, and her church family.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 6 PM, Thursday, October 8, 2015 in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, TX 78028. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1:30 PM, Friday, October 9, 2015 in the sanctuary of Notre Dame Catholic Church, corner of Water and Washington Streets, Kerrville, TX 78028. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery

In lieu of floral tributes, memorials in her name can be made to the Notre Dame Catholic School, Kerrville, TX.
