Novella J. Jordan

Novella Jean Jordan, 99, died peacefully at home on Saturday, October 26, 2024. She was born September 2, 1925 in Parsons, Kansas to Fred R. Smoot and Lillie Belle Pilkington Smoot.

Novella loved being a homemaker, baking, travelling with her husband and especially taking care of her husband and boys. She loved, cherished and spoiled all of her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin, her parents and siblings and great-granddaughter, Adrienne Wilmes.

Novella is survived by sons, Gary Jordan and wife Judith of McKinney; Michael Jordan and wife Leslie of Harper; granddaughters, April and husband Travis Wilmes of Silver City, NM, Jennifer Jordan of Austin, Amber Milo of Truth or Consequences, NM, Kristin and her husband A.J. Vega of El paso, Dana and her husband Jason Elrod of Pendleton, OR, Ashley Jordan of Phoenix, AZ, Cloe Ikemeier of Phoenix, AZ; grandson, Matthew Jordan of Puyallup, WA; 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 1, 2024 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Garden of Memories. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM Friday prior to services.
