Norman Stanley Redhead, 69, of Kerrville, Texas passed from this life unexpectedly on June 11, 2013 as a result of the perfect storm pneumonia, AFIB, and congestive heart failure.
Norm was born May 30, 1944 in Vancouver, BC, Canada to parents, Stanley and Orabelle Brand Redhead. He came to the U.S. at the age of 3 and grew up in Ellensburg, Washington where he graduated from high school in 1962. He attended Washington State University and graduated with a pharmacy degree in 1967. During the 1970s he was a private pilot. He married Nancy on August 3, 1989 at Grace Harbor in the Canadian Gulf Islands on their boat Mutual Funds. Norm owned numerous businesses including an athletic club with Nancy. Together they also owned a financial planning firm. They conducted business out of a remodeled Victorian home and on their boat Branch Office. Upon moving to Texas he spent his semiretirement helping people in foreclosure. He was the campaign manager for a congressional candidate and was active in the fair tax issue. He really enjoyed being on the planning committee that put together a successful 50th high school class reunion. Norm had a love for all things computer.
Norm is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Redhead daughter, Jennifer Young and husband Mark daughter, Kris Diamond and husband Jim granddaughters, Lexi and Emmie Diamond and a host of friends and neighbors.
A remembrance memorial will be held 12:301:30, Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Impact Christian Fellowship during The Refreshing.
