Norma Grubbs

KERRVILLE Norma quotPatquot L. Grubbs, 83, was born on July 16, 1928 in New Kensington, PA, and passed peacefully on April 16, 2012 at a local care center in Kerrville, TX. She was born to the late Leonard and Dorothy Huffard Frampton. She is now in a better place and Heaven will be a better place with Pat there.

Pat married the love of her life, Gordon Grubbs on February 2, 1948 in Aspinwall, PA. Pat was a good wife and mother, and she taught her children well. Her only work was in the family business, so she could be home when the kids got home from school.

Pat had a good eye for colors and decorating. She did a lot of volunteer work in the communities that she lived in. Pat was a top basket weaver as well as teaching basket making. It was December 23, 1994 when Pat had an aneurysm on her brain, but she fought a valiant battle for almost 18 years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Kerrville became their home in 2007.

She is survived by her husband, Gordon Grubbs of Kerrville, TX three children, six grandchildren, and three greatgrandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date.
