Kerrville Nolan L. Lambert, 93, of Kerrville, Texas passed from this life at a local hospital on Sunday, December 14, 2003. He was born in Concan, Texas to the late James Thomas and Nettie Harp Lambert.Mr. Lambert grew up in the Muleshoe, Texas area, and there he married his lovely wife, Gladys Merle Fuller in 1932. They moved to Kerrville for the first time in 1948. He owned and operated a trucking business through which he supplied local ranchers with feed. Upon accepting a position with Coastal States as a driver, they lived in Corpus Christi and Houston before retiring to Marble Falls, TX in 1969. After the death of his wife, he moved back to Kerrville in 1986. He was a member of the Sidney Baker Church of Christ.Mr. Lambert is preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas and Nettie Harp Lambert his wife, Gladys Lambert 4 brothers and 5 sisters a son, James Nolan Lambert and a daughter, Sally Mary Carney. Survived by brothers, Bill Lambert, and Woodrow Lambert both of Muleshoe, TX sisters, Marie Lane, and Freda Foss, both of Muleshoe, TX children, Rita M. Baker of Kerrville, TX, Nan Mosty of Kerrville, TX, Patsy Pruett of Corpus Christi, TX, Jerry Lambert of Cuero, TX, Joe Lambert of Victoria, TX, and Linda Petty of Spring, TX also survive him are 18 grandchildren, 24 greatgrandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews along with a host of loving friends and neighbors.A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel with Greg Cummings, Minister of Sidney Baker Church of Christ officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital, specifically for the Palliative Care Unit or the Sidney Baker Church of Christ Building Fund.Those serving as Palbearers are Jim Lambert, Jack Lambert, Joey Lambert, Justin Lambert, Ben Lambert, Bobby Mosty, and John Ryan Cooley.Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
