Kerrville Beloved mother, grandmother and friend to all, Nobia Jewel Stevens Isaac, 96, of Kerrville, got the message and was called home to her Lord on December 21, 2010.

Born in December 29, 1913, in Winchester, TX, she was the daughter of Prince and Eliza Payne Stevens.

She professed a faith in Christ at an early age and united with Shiloh Methodist Church in Winchester.

After moving to Kerrville in 1937, she united with Barnett Chapel UMC, where she served faithfully until her health began to deteriorate.

Mrs. Isaacs favorite pastimes were sewing, cooking and spending many hours with her family and friends telling stories.

She is predeceased by her parents , 2 brothers and 6 sisters.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her son, Charlie Lee Isaac, Jr. and his wife, Shirley, of Dallas, TX, her daughter, Nobia Charlene Johnson of San Antonio, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 4 greatgreat grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

ation will be held at Barnett Chapel UMC, 710 Paschel St, Kerrville, on Friday, December 24, 2010, from 11:00AM12 Noon.

A celebration of her life will be at Noon at the church. Committal services will be held at Garden of Memories North, following the services.

The family suggests that donations in her name be made to Barnett Chapel UMC, 710 Paschel St, Kerrville, TX 78028.
