Nina Opland Wright

Nina Opland Wright, 94, of Kerrville, Texas, who passed from this life at Brookdale Senior Living Facility on Monday, January 29, 2024. Mrs. Wright was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 20, 1929. She graduated from Stephens College and the University of Houston. 

Her beloved husband, James Aiken Wright preceded her in death; as well as her parents, Nina Stryker and Hogan Opland. She is survived by her niece, Ann Riddell Matthews and her children, Jacob and Angela Riddell; as well as nieces, Suzanne Godfrey, Mary Aiken Wright, Ethel Berger and Mary Ann Livingston.

Mrs. Wright was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Kerrville, Texas.

There will be no local services at this time. Mrs. Wright will be laid to rest with her husband at Garden of Memories Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Hill Country Youth Ranch in Ingram, Texas or the charity of your choice.
