Nina Mueller

Kerrville Nina Mueller, may her tribe increase entered her own sweet dream of Peace on August 28, 2006. She had decided to rest from her valiant fight with cancer. She was 81 years old.She is survived by her three daughters Linda Falgiani and her son Christopher Falgiani, Christi McMahon and her son Marc McMahon, Judy Mueller of London, England and her sister, Edwina Moreland of Connecticut. She was married to Belmont Frank Mueller who predeceased her in 1969.Nina was an exemplary academic student, graduated from Texas Christian University with Honors, and received her Master in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. After living in several different locations during her early married years, she came back to Dallas and devoted her early career years working in the social services field, helping those less fortunate than herself, as well as taking care of her family. After transferring to Houston, she continued her social work and her role as Mother to three young daughters. She finally found her place of beauty and peace, semiretiring in Kerrville.Her contributions include VicePresident of Casa View PreSchool PTA Hexter Elementary School PTA Board Member in Dallas VicePresident Lakeview Christian Church Womens Group in Dallas, President of Houston TCU Alumni Womens Club Founding member of Hill Country Club and Board Member for two years in Kerrville and Powhatan Indian Elder. Nina was extraordinarily accomplished, and will be remembered, among many other things, as loving to learn new things and having a tremendous capacity to do so. Her sweetness of spirit, love of Creator, appreciation for adventure, passion for travel and her keen intellect are qualities that her surviving family members will carry with them for the rest of their lives. She will be sadly missed by her family and remembrances may be sent to the American Cancer Society or the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. A private family remembrance will occur on Thursday, August 31, 2006.Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
