Neal Coldwell, III

CENTER POINT Neal Coldwell, III, 75, of Center Point, TX passed from this life at his home on September 23, 2013. He was born in Tampico, Mexico on October 5, 1937 to Neal V. Coldwell, II and Bessie Starr Coldwell.

Neal was a lifetime resident of Center Point, TX and was very proud of his heritage of being a descendant of a pioneer ranching family. He was also the grandson of Captain Neal Coldwell of the Texas Rangers, and held that family history very close to his heart.

Those who passed before him were his parents brother, William Coldwell and sister, Bessie Coldwell Mechling.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his son, Neal Pat Vaughn Coldwell, IV daughters, Debbie Paul Bloom, Sue Wood, Nancy Will Thompson, Kathy Bert Biermann sister, Lula Mae Cotton Thompson Coldwell brother, Charles Coldwell grandchildren, Damon Lil Bloom, Ashley Bloom, Megan Cody Winfrey, Kristin Coldwell, Lindsay, Justin, and Sarah Wood, and Jared Danielle Biermann his four legged companions, Speck and Smokey, along with a host of many loving friends and neighbors who will greatly miss him.

A time of visitation and reflection will be held from 6 8 PM, Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, TX 78028. Funeral Services will be held at Center Point Christian Church, 100 Church Street, Center Point, TX 78010 at 10 AM, September 26, 2013 with the Rev. Jonathon Parks officiating. Interment will follow at Center Point Cemetery, Center Point, TX.

Memorial contributions may be forwarded to the Center Point Christian Church or to the Center Point Historical Society.
