Kerrville Naomi Frances Ingram, 79, of Kerrville, passed from this life at a local health care facility on Monday, August 16, 2010.
Born in Meigs County, TN on October 4, 1930, she was the daughter of Frank and Mamie Wrinkle Carlton.
Mrs. Ingram was the former owner and operator of Del Norte Restaurant in Kerrville for over 20 years, and had also owned the Yellow Ribbon Restaurant in Kerrville for over 5 years. She was the recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from the TRA Texas Restaurant Association, in 1976, was on the Small Business Administration and their advisory board, and was past president and former member of the Kerr County Chamber of Commerce, and was a member of the Board of Directors of Texas State Arts and Crafts Fairs.
She loved to travel, play cards and was an avid antique collector.
Mrs. Ingram loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents, a son, Carlton Ingram, and by 4 brothers.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her son and daughterinlaw, Alan and Donna Ingram of Kerrville 2 grandchildren, Jacob Ingram and Ashley Mrs. Justin Vincent all of Kerrville a great grandchild, Fallon Vincent of Kerrville and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation.
A Celebration of her life will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home main chapel on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at 11AM.
The family suggests that donations in her name be made to the Hill Country Youth Ranch or VistaCare Hospice.
