London, TX ndash NaLeen McCollum, 78, of London, passed from this life on January 7, 2009 with family by her side.nbsp She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Bill and Mabel McCollum of Menard, TX and brother Billie Edd McCollum of Crane, TX.nbspShe was born April 16, 1930 in London and raised in and around the London community.nbsp NaLeen grew up loving horses, sports, cooking, sewing, crafts and being with family and friends.nbsp After marrying, she and her family lived and moved around West Texas working in the oil fields.nbsp Later in life, she moved back to London and was active in the community cooking and quilting with friends.nbsp NaLeen was a member of the Church of Christ.nbspFamily members include one brother, Jimmy Don McCollum and his wife, Brenda, of London three daughters, Kathy Leen Duncan of Arkansas, Patsy Lee Matheson of Alabama and Wannette Beth Quick of Oklahoma three sons, Reggie R. Pearl and Eddie R. Pearl both of London and Ronnie E. Pearl of Ozona, TX ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and three great grandchildren on their way.nbspThere is no visitation.nbspHer memorial service will be held Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 10:00AM at the Church of Christ, London.
