Mollie Lee Romero

Mollie Lee Romero, daughter of Helen Maxine and Phillip Bray, was called to be with our Lord on Monday, October 10, 2022, at the age of eighty-two.

Mollie is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, John A. Romero. Mollie is the loving Mother of Roy D. Bowman and his wife Lynn, Joy G. Alexander and her husband Ted, step mother of Norma Susan McMenamy and her husband Jon, Martha Lanie Brickley and her husband Mike and Laura Michelle Hankins and her husband Eddy, Sister Lynne Cummings and her husband Butch and Brother Buddy Burleigh and his wife Terry. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

Mollie has been a resident of Ingram, Texas for 26 years. Settling here after retiring from a 22-year career with Lockheed Corporation and traveling the United States, Canada and other parts of the world with her loving husband. While traveling, she made numerous friends and enjoyed many adventures. Mollie loved reading in her leisure time and could lose herself in a good novel.

Mollie held several positions at Johnson Space Flight Center. Some of the highlights during her career included the archiving of Moon Rocks recovered by Apollo expeditions, and supporting 12 Space Shuttle Missions while working in the Data Distribution Center.

Mollie was a woman of great faith. She was kind and loving, always ready to assist when needed. Mollie was loved by many and will truly be missed.

The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Caretakers of Peterson Hospice for the excellent care they provided Mollie, as well as, the support given to the family.

Memorial services will be held 3 PM on Thursday October 20, 2022 at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church 2015 Singing Wind Drive Kerrville, Texas.
