Milton Wilson

Milton Wilson, 78, of Kerrville passed from this life on August 8, 2021.

He was born on September 9, 1942 in Houston, TX to parents, L.J and Eunice Mathews Wilson.  He grew up in Spring, TX and on October 29, 1965 married the love of his life, Wanda Robinett Wilson.

Milton was a sharp shooter in the US Army, and after marrying Wanda together they had two sons.

He moved his family to Kerrville in 1974. He was very active in Kerrville where he owned Gray’s Radiator Shop, and retired from Schreiner College after 21 years in plant operations. He was an active member and deacon at First Baptist Church, participated as a Kerrville Citizen Police as well as Kerrville Sheriff Citizens, he was a Kerrville Master Gardner and a past master of the Kerrville Masonic Lodge.

He is preceded in death by his parents, L.J. Wilson and Eunice Wilson; sister, Carla Blackwell and great grandson, Nathan Alvarado.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Wanda of 57 years; sons, Timothy Wilson of Austin, TX; Jason Wilson and wife, Macky of Richmond, TX; grandsons, Devin Wilson of San Diego, CA; Taylor Wilson of Richmond, TX and Nick Alvarado of Kerrville, TX; great grand-daughters, Lindsey and Alina Alvarado of Kerrville, TX.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Dietert Center and Peterson Hospice.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 5-7 PM at Kerrville Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 12,2021 at 1PM at Kerrville Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Ligon officiating.

A graveside service will be held Monday, August 30, 2021 at 10:45AM at Fort Sam National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX.
