Miles Rudloff

KERRVILLE - Miles Stanley Rudloff, 90, of Kerrville, Texas, passed away at a local hospital on Saturday, February 28, 2015. He was born July 15, 1924 in Gulf, Texas to the late Lee and Hattie Rudloff. While Hattie was his biological mother, Ruby Rudloff entered his life at the age of five and became the mother that raised him, his brothers and sister.

Stanley was a World War II veteran serving in the United States Army Air Forces. He worked as an operator and supervisor for Texas Gulf Sulfur Company in Beaumont and New Gulf, Texas for more than 30 years. He retired in July 1986 and moved to Kerrville, Texas in 1991. He was member of the Riverside Church of Christ.

Stanley is preceded in death by his parents; son, Gary Stanley Rudloff; brothers, Archer and Gene Rudloff and sister, Willa Martha Janda.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his wife of 64 years, Virginia Rudloff of Kerrville; daughter, Deborah Zink of Kerrville; granddaughter, Jennifer Johnston and husband Tony of Pacific Grove, California; great granddaughters, Hannah and Sarah Johnston of Pacific Grove, California along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 10 AM, at Magnolia Cemetery, 2291 Pine Street, Beaumont, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all memorials be made in Stan Rudloff's name to the Fisher House, South Texas Veteran Health Care Systems, 7485 Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, Texas 78229; Medina's Children Home, 21330 State Highway 16, Medina, Texas, the American Cancer Society, 8115 Datapoint Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78229 or the charity of one's choice.
