Mildred Hanson

KERRVILLE - Mrs. Mildred Flora "Millie" Hanson, 78, of Kerrville, Texas passed from this life at a local care center on Saturday, February 14, 2015. Born in Lyme, NH on March 28, 1936, she was the daughter Homer Dean and Flora (Wing) Wilmott. She had been a resident of Kerrville since 1990.

A graduate of Hanover High School, Class of 1955, she married John T. Hanson on February 5, 1988. She was a nurse's aide at the Kerrville State Hospital until her retirement. In her spare time, Mrs. Hanson enjoyed quilting, gardening and caring for her cats.

Mrs. Hanson is predeceased by her parents, her husband, several brothers and sisters.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her daughter, Robin Baraw and husband, Carroll; her son, Bruce Robson; her granddaughters, Eliza Baraw Bruni and husband, Chris and Mary Baraw; great grandson, Cole Jack Philip Esser, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, February 20,2015 at 3 PM in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, Texas 78028 with the Rev. Sam Ligon officiating.
