Michael Gumbert

SAN ANTONIO Michael Aaron Gumbert, 29, of Ingram, Texas went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Monday, January 20, 2014, at 8:10 PM at a hospital in San Antonio from complications of the H1N1 Swine Flu. Michael was born on August 4, 1984 to Michael Scott and Thelma Jo Hooker Gumbert in Ness City, Kansas.

Michael Aaron was a strong faith guided, whole hearted loving man who loved to spend his time with his family, and most of all his children. He was devoted to living his life to his faith in his Heavenly Father, and had a dream to make a spiritual change in as many people as he could. He found great enjoyment in spending time on the water fishing, riding motorcycles, playing sports and most of all watching his favorite team, The Dallas Cowboys. He was a lifelong resident of Ingram, TX, and will be loved and missed everyday by those who he touched and those who loved him dearest.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Vivian Gertrude Doss Hooker and paternal grandmother, Minnie Lee McGehee Gumbert.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his wife, Tonya Mariah StuffletGumbert and their 4 children, Christopher Zachery, Kiley Paige, Mystique Joleen and Caidence Arin his parents, Michael Scott and Thelma Jo Hooker Gumbert brother, Walker Lee Gumbert his grandparents, RoyBill and Betty Hooker of Gatesville, Texas and Willie Gumbert of Ingram, Texas he is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of loving friends, neighbors, and fellow Cowboys Fans.

A time of visitation and reflection will be held Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 57 PM at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, Texas 78028. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, January 24, 2014 in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Nichols Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest next to his grandmother.

There will be a remembrance supper gathering following the services at New Heights Church, located on Junction Highway.
