Mercedes Ramos

Kerrville Mercedes R. Ramos, 48, of Kerrville, passed from this life at a local hospital on November 24, 2010.

Born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico on April 27, 1962, she was the daughter of Carlos and Anna Maria Gonzalez Rodriguez. She moved to Houston when she was 17 years old and then moved to Kerrville 20 years ago.

She loved to spend time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren, she was an avid animal lover and had many quotgrandpuppiesquot.

Mercedes loved to cook authentic Mexican meals for her family, often starting from scratch and making wonderful meals that her family and friends will talk about for a long time.

She loved to go play Bingo, especially at the VFW.

Mercedes was a communicant of Notre Dame Catholic Church.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her husband, Bernardo Ramos, Sr her son, Bernardo quotBennyquotRamos, Jr., her daughters, Nina Ramos and Monica Ramos, her grandchildren, Oscar, Esperanza and Daniel, all of Kerrville her parents of Nuevo Laredo, Mexico her 8 sisters, Guadalupe DeLuna, Anna Guerrero, Teresa Rodriguez, Juanita Dominguez, Susan Rodriguez, Alejanera Czernials, Cecilia Gonzalez and Analaura Campos one brother, George Rodriguez, and many nieces and nephews.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held Saturday evening, November 27, 2010 at 6PM followed by visitation until 8PM.

The family suggests memorial donations be made in her name to the Kidney Foundation.
