Megan Desiree Puckett

Megan Desiree Puckett, born in Albuquerque, NM on May 13th, 1983 passed away peacefully in Kerrville, TX on October 19th, 2024. She attended the following schools: Sunshine Elementary in Deming, NM; Las Cruces Senior High in Las Cruces, NM class of 2001; and Northwest Vista College in San Antonio, TX. 

While living in Helotes, TX with her sister Tonya, she attended Northwest Vista college and was a part time teacher at the Kids of Kingdom School, while attending and volunteering at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit.  

Megan tried to live life to the fullest, as much as her lung capacity allowed her too. She was known as Auntie Meg, to her nieces and nephews (whom she regularly dressed in their clothes backwards), she enjoyed spending time with friends, she also loved fashion, purple and butterflies.

She is preceded in death by her bonus father, Ralph Crook; bonus sister, Sarah Crook and father, Christopher Puckett. 

She is survived by her mother, Diana Charlene Simpson Crook; bonus sister, Kimberly Crook Brewer (Bobby), nieces Akemi & Amika; sister, Tonya Sampson Kramer (Michael), nieces Nicole, Kaytlin (Andrew Matteo), Emily and great nephew, Mason; sister, Krista Puckett Swoboda (Robert) and nephew Kam; sister, Paige Puckett Herrera, nephew Lennox; brother, Aramis Puckett Heiss (Chandlyr), nephews Emerson & Enzo, niece Eleanor.

She will forever be in our hearts.
