Mason Lewis

Kerrville Mason A. Lewis, 85, of Kerrville, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at a local hospital.

Born in Call, TX on February 16, 1925, he was the son of Garland and Zerelda Mason Lewis. He had been a resident of Kerrville since 2003, when he retired.

Mr. Lewis served in the US Army fromn 19431946 in the Pacific Theater.

He was in the radio broadcasting business as a general manager, sales manager and sports announcer. He loved to fish and hunt.

He was a member of the Riverside Church of Christ.

Mr. Lewis is predeceased by his parents.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his wife, Doris F. Goodwin Lewis of Kerrville his children, son, Mike Lewis of Kerrvillle, daughter Marti Faulkner of Sacramento, CA and son Mark Lewis of South Korea grandson, Justin Faulkner of Sacramento, CA his sisters, Marcel Morgan, Judy Adams and Maxine Harrington and many neices and nephews.

There will be no visitation.

A private service will be held for Mr. Lewis at a later date.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his name to the charity of ones choice.
