Mary Alice Urioste went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 16, 2013 at the age of 85 .
Alice was born in Clayton, New Mexico on May 25th 1928 to Joseph and Nettie Turrietta. The daughter of a railroader, Alice lived in Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado, and then settled in Texas where her father retired. She attended Catholic School as a child , and finished her education in public school . She met and married Bennie Steve Urioste in 1947. They made their home in Boise City, Oklahoma. They had four children. Alice worked in the public school system as a teachers aide for several years which she thoroughly enjoyed. She belonged to the Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Society and served on several Church committees. She and her husband later made a new spiritual home at the First United Methodist Church in Boise City where they remained active for many years. Alice was a wonderful wife and mother . She was preceded in death by her husband Bennie Urioste only one month ago. She is survived by her four children, Jimmy Urioste and wife Gwen, Donnie Urioste and wife Sharon daughters, Linda Whitely and husband Michael, and Annette Urioste five grandchildren, Tracy, Stephen, Nicole, Mandy, and Matthew. She also had 11 great grandchildren
Services are pending and will be announced at a later time. In the spring of 2014, there will be a celebration of life service in Boise City, Oklahoma at the First United Methodist Church. Exact date and time will be in the Boise City paper in April. WE LOVE YOU MOM
