Mary Murray

Mary Jane Murray, 89, of Kerrville passed from this life on July 19, 2016 at a local care facility. Mary Jane was born May 21, 1927 in Abilene, TX to Shaffer and May Arledge. On June 12, 1954, she married Carl I. Murray in Abilene, TX.
She was a graduate of Abilene Christian University and the University of Colorado. She was a chemist in the Field Research Laboratories of Magnolia Oil Company, now known as Mobile Oil. She and her husband and family lived in El Paso, TX for thirty years before moving to Kerrville, coming here in 1987.
She was a lifelong member of the Kerrville Church of Christ and a Sunday school teacher for many years.
Survivors include her son, David of Kerrville and daughter, Susan Wood of Blue Springs, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10 AM, Thursday July 21, 2016 at Kerrville Church of Christ with Greg Cummings officiating
