Mary Monroe

Mary Ann Monroe, age 60, of Ingram passed away at her residence Monday, November 18, 2002. She was born on July 11, 1942 in Bolton Landing, NY to Charles and Lila Norton. She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Bruce Vernon Monroe.Mary Ann worked with the public for many years and enjoyed meeting and greeting people where ever she went. She worked for Lubys in Kerrville for 3 years and took pride being the first person on the line greeting the guest. She loved wildlife, especially birds. She spent many an evening with her husband out in the yard watching the animals as they would come into the yard and play. Mary Ann loved her family. She enjoyed the family gatherings and loved cooking all of her familys favorite foods. Mary Ann is survived by a daughter, Priscilla Monroe of Bandera, two sons, Bruce Monroe and wife Debbie of Ingram and Steve Monroe and wife Katrina of Lakeland, Fla.She is also survived by eight grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.
