Mary Ivy

Mary Ann Brown Ivy, 89, was born March 28, 1925 in Lueders, Texas. She passed away April 15, 2014 in Kerrville, Texas.

Mary Ann lived most of her adult life in Odessa, Texas and worked for General Tire and Rubber Company as a Buyer. She moved to Kerrville in 2005 to be closer to family.

Mary Ann is survived by her niece, Shannon Roark of Harper nephew, Scott Brown of Houston two grandnephews, three grandnieces, and twelve greatgrandnieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ivy parents, Herbert L. and Cora E. Cook Brown and brothers, Howard and J.D. Brown.

Aunt Mary was known for her thoughtfulness by sending birthday, anniversary and Christmas cards to every member of her family. She will be missed dearly, but we know she is in Heaven celebrating her arrival with her beloved husband, parents and brothers.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, April 25, 2014 at Mount Hope Cemetery in Anson, Texas. Open visitation will be held Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Kerrville Funeral Home.
