Mary Dahm

KERRVILLE Jo Dahm, 92, of Kerrville, TX passed from this life on August 13, 2013 in San Antonio, TX. She was born August 1, 1921 in Breckenridge, TX, the daughter of William Lock Allen and Mary Bess Granberry Allen.

Jo attended Miss Hockadays School in Dallas and after graduation from high school she attended and graduated from the University of Southern California where she was a member of the Alpha Delta Phi sorority. Shortly after college, she met and married George Dahm, to whom she was married for 65 wonderful years. More than just a devoted wife, she was the mother in the world. Jo and George moved to Kerrville 27 years ago to enjoy the flourishing art culture. She was an award winning artist whose water colors can be found hanging around the world.

Jo is preceded in death by her loving husband, George Dahm, and her son, Geoff Dahm.

She is survived by his her daughters, Sharon Lien and husband Egil and Deidre Misty Beard grandchildren, Matt Lein and wife Julie, Beth Lanford and husband Scott, Megan Boyd and husband Chad, Lucas Warrington and wife Roxanne and Justin Lien greatgrandchildren, Joey Lien, Gracie Lankford, Naya Boyd, Joshua Warrington, Maria Lloyd, Jayson Lloyd, Tyler Lloyd and Nathan Warrington, along with many loving friends and neighbors.

In lieu of floral tributes, the family suggests that all memorial donations be made to the Kerrville Art Club, PO Box 29203, Kerrville, TX 78028.

ation will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Hwy, Kerrville, TX 78028 on Friday, August 16, 2013 from 3 to 5 PM. She will be laid to rest privately at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX.
