Mary Connor

Kerrville Mary LaVerne Gordon Conner, 85, of Kerrville and Ft. Stockton, passed away into the arms of her Heavenly Father on September 28, 2010 at her home.

She was born on February 23, 1925 in Menlow, TX to Ray L. and Mary Jane Herring.

Mrs. Connor was a member of the Ft. Stockton Eastern Star and the First Methodist Church. She was a volunteer for the VFW in McAllen and Marble Falls, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 60 years, Jack H. Gordon.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her husband of 5 years, Herman Pat Gordon of Kerrville and Ft. Stockton her three children, Jackie Garcia and her husband, Jose, of Houston, TX, Rex Gordon and his wife, Betsy, of San Antonio and Rod Gordon and his wife Janie, all of San Antonio 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, as well as the extended Connor family. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.

Services are pending and will be anounced when they are availible.
