Mary Cofield

Kerrville Mary Linda Cofield, 78 on Monday February 15, 2010 went to be with her heavenly father.

Born in Franklin, Tennessee on May 10, 1931, she was the daughter of Richard B. Hill and Louella Pierce Hill. She was a resident of Kerrville for over 35 years.

She owned Casa Linda Restaurant and Art Gallery in Kerrville, She was the General Manager of Cam Lou retirement home, she was also very successful with Sarah Coventry Jewelry. She started the Kerrville chapter of the quotRed Hat Societyquot and was the first quotQueen Beequot of the new chapter. She loved helping others and serving the community. Her hobbies were cooking, music and dancing.

Mary Linda is predeceased by her father Richard B. Hill in 1966, her mother Louella Pierce Hill in 1979 and her brothers Douglas R. Hill in 1951 and Robert L. Hill in 1976.

Those left to honor and cherish her memories are her husband, Colonel Leaton C. Cofield sons and daughters, Richard L. Gilbert, Debra A. Dowden, Tanna E. Ellyson, Donna S. Zimmer, Stuart R. Searcy, Gregory A. Searcy grand children, Jena D. Linton, Misty D. Wolfe, Leslie A. Allison, Richard B. Gilbert, Johnathon R. Gilbert, Mary E. Ingram, Christopher C. Zimmer, Jacob D. Searcy great grand children, Emma N. Wolfe, Taylor J. Linton, Thomas M. Wolfe, John T. Gilbert, Lauren A. Gilbert brothers and sisters, Henry C. Hill, Ernest G. Hill, L. Geneva Shaw, Lawanda J. Harris, Emma L. Zeck, Bennie L. Winn, John P. Hill, Thomas E. Hill.

A celebration of her life will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home 1221 Junction Hwy. Kerrville, Texas 78028, on Friday February 19th at 2:00pm.
