Mary Boatright

Mary Dean Pirkle Boatright, 94, a loving wife, mother and grandmother went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 16, 2009.

She was born June 26, 1915 in Richardson, Texas to Charles N. and Lena I. Story Pirkle. Mary was very creative and had the special ability to take the ordinary and make it something special. She loved to bake, sew and garden on her beautiful land in Kerrville, Texas.

She was known for her sweetness and her ability to express the appreciation of life by her generosity of spirit. Above all, Mary had a beautiful heart of gold and everyone loved being around her.

We will miss her dearly She will remain in our hearts and souls forever We love you Grandma

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Clifton Boatright daughter, Mary Ruth Forrester and grandson, Royce Forrester, Jr.

Those left to honor and cherish her memories are her son, Edgar W. Boatright and wife Nan her sister, Katherine Prewitt grandchildren, Sheryl Guidry and husband Richard, Terri Lynn Campbell, Perry Forrester and wife Cinda, Doug Boatright and wife Leigh Ann and Warren Boatright, Jr. and wife Patrice eight great grandchildren many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

The visitation will be held Sunday, September 20, 2009 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Kerrville Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held Monday, September 21, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Kerrville Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Ligon officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Kerrville.
