Mary Allen

Kerrville Mary Lucille Allen, 84, of Kerrville, passed from this life on Wednesday morning, September 19, 2007 at a local health care facility.Born in Hunt, TX on September 30, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Press and Izora Hope Graham. She had lived in the Hunt and Kerrville area her entire life.Mrs. Allen was a clerk for Reams Food Market and later at Super S.She was a member of the Hunt Baptist Church her entire life. Mrs. Allen enjoyed gardening, reading and many crafts.Family members include her son and daughterinlaw, Mike and Lisa Maples of Harper her daughter and soninlaw, Sharon and Bill Laning of Kerrville a step daughter and her husband, Cindy and Michael Allen of Tempe, AZ grandchildren, Shelly Maples, Kellie Maples and Ricky Vela, Michael Maples, Lesley Kikowicz, Dan Klien, Russell and Sue Ann Klien and Carl Laning 8 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband of 32 years, Leon Maples, who died in February of 1997 and her second husband of 32 years, Jim Allen, who died December of 2006, and by her 4 sisters and 2 brothers.There is no visitation.Funeral services will be held at the Hunt Baptist Church on Friday, September 21, 2007 at 1PM. Burial will follow in the family lot in Hunt Japonica Cemetery. In lieu of floral arrangements, the family suggests memorials be made to the Hunt Baptist Church or to Vista Care Hospice.
