Duane grew up in Burlingame, CA, served our country in the US Army, and then attended college at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, where he began a career as a rodeo cowboy.nbspHe later moved to Texas where he married and raised his family, He was a true outdoorsman who relished life on his ranch. He devoted his professional life to working in the sporting goods industry and in his personal life, he enjoyed deer and dove hunting, as well as fishing in the great outdoors.nbspHe is a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed by his loved ones.nbspFuneral services will be held at St John Lutheran Church in Harper, TX on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 1:30PM and also in Burlingame, CA on Tuesday, June 17, 2008. Interment will follow at Cypress Lawn Cemetery in Colma, CA. In lieu of floral arrangements, monetary donations may be made to the Kendalia Community Church, Kendalia, TX or St. John Lutheran Church, Harper, TX.
