Martha Young

Martha Elizabeth Young, 79, of Kerrville, Texas passed away peacefully on June 21, 2005.Mrs. Young was born August 30, 1925 in Monroe, Louisiana to James and Rachel Woodard. She moved to Kerrville in 1943, where she worked as a sales clerk at Schreiners Department Store, and also at a local jewelry store. Her hobbies included bowling and in her earlier years had been a member of a bowling league. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Kerrville. She was a loving aunt and sister, and she will be missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lynn O. Young, who passed away in 1973, and also her parents.She is survived by her sister, Inez Fisher, and husband Clarence of Port Neches, Texas two nephews, James Fisher and wife Shawn of Mont Belview, Texas, and Stephen Fisher of Knoxville, Tennessee and greatnieces, Rachel and Rebekah Fisher.Graveside services will be 10:00AM, Thursday, June 23, 2005 at Glen Rest Cemetery with Rev. Arlie Lammers officiating. No visitation is scheduled.
