Marilyn Dyer Lindig, 57, of Harper, Texas passed away September 21, 2005 in Harper.Marilyn was born September 20, 1948 in San Antonio to Milton and Nola Dyer. She married Jerome Lindig on June 16, 1973 at Zion Lutheran Church in Fredericksburg. Marilyn was an active member of the community who served any where she was needed. She used her great personality, computer skills and cheerful heart as a volunteer at the St. Marys Church School in Fredericksburg, the Harper Volunteer Fire Department, the Harper Community, concessions at the local Rodeo, with elderly care, and the Thousand Hills Cowboy Church in Kerrville, where she was an active member. Marilyn also enjoyed music, dancing, especially square dancing, games, dominoes, and entertaining company, family, and friends. She was very active in the annual Taylor and Whetstone family reunions, and was a beloved member of the Coffey family. Marilyn was a friend, a joy, a blessing, and a very giving and loving person. She loved her extended family, pets, livestock and deer. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.She is preceded in death by her parents uncle, Lynn Taylor and aunt, Edna B. Taylor Duderstadt.She is survived by her husband, Jerome Lindig uncle, Roland Taylor and wife Ruth of Spring Valley, CA two brothersinlaw, Ronnie Lindig and wife Irene of San Antonio, Melvin Lindig of Marion, TX, four nephews, one niece, and many loved cousins.Funeral services will be 10:00AM, Monday, September 26, 2005 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Moore officiating. Interment will follow at 12:30PM, in Noxville Cemetery off of FM 479 in Kimble County. ation will be 57:00, Sunday at Kerrville Funeral Home.Pallbearers will be Carl Borchers, Vernon Fritze, Chuck Coffey, Aaron Coffey, Waynne Rogers, Russell Rogers, Gene Rohe, and Richard Cowie. Honorary pallbearers will be Ralston Coffey, Bill Peril, Worth Duderstadt, and Tom Whetstone.Memorials may be made to the Harper Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 306, Harper, TX 78631.
