Margarita Garza

Kerrville Margarita Alcorta Garza passed away July 23, 2011 at St. Lukes Episcopal Hospital in Houston, TX.

Born and raised in Kerrville, where she loved spending her leisure time with the local bingo community, Margarita is also known as Margie, she loved spending quality time with friends and family at her beautiful home in Kerrville South.

Margarita devoted many years caring for others and made any sacrifice necessary to help someone in need. Anyone that knew Margie knew her for her strength, courage, and her unique sense of humor.

She was many things to many people in her own special way, above all else she was a representation of love and acceptance. Margarita shared a love that warmed the hearts of family, strengthen the bonds of her children, and protected the ones she cared for. Margies love will be carried on. Margarita poured her love and wisdom to all the lives she touched and will be greatly missed.

She was a loving and devoted daughter to her father Indlesio Alcorta and mother Estanis Juarez of Kerrville.

She is survived by her beloved sisters, Barbarita Villareal of Houston, Anita Rodriguez of Kerrville a brother Danny Alcorta of Kerrville her children Carol Garza Lubbock, TX, Richard A. Garza Jr. of Fort Stockton, TX, Barbarita A. Garza, James A. Garza, and Phillip D. Garza all of San Antonio her grandchildren Richard A. Garza, III of San Antonio, Indalesio J. Flores, Angelica R. Garza, Roland Valverde Garza all of Lubbock, Cidney A. Garza, Araine Brown, Honey D. Brown all of San Antonio, Romeo J. Garza, Nicolas A. Garza both of Kerrville, Devean R. Garza and Hayden A. Garza both of San Antonio her Great Grandchildren Jose Alvarado and Noah Alvarado Lubbock, TX.

ation will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home on Friday evening, July 29, 2011 from 68PM.

A funeral service will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 10AM with a committal service to follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Kerrville.
